Anne Kelly

Anne Kelly is a printmaker at Expressions Graphics in Oak Park, Illinois and has studied encaustic painting, mixed media, Chine-colle, and printmaking with Jeffrey Hirst, Donna Brown, Steve Fisher, and Sarah Rehmer. She has been featured in several group exhibits in the Chicago area including the juried Her Voice Shows at Expressions Graphics in 2017, 2018, and 2019 and at the Oak Park Library Art Gallery in January 2016. 

Anne is also active in Door County, Wisconsin.  Her work was selected for the Purchase Award from the 53^rd Annual Juried Exhibit at The Hardy Gallery in 2015. In 2014 Anne was invited to decorate an egg for the EGGstravaganza in Egg Harbor and celebrated the whimsy of this fundraising community art event.  Her printmaking often centers on viscosity-inked monoprints that experiment with color and simple, yet repetitive, overlapping lines.  Additionally she enjoys creating collagraph prints using found materials.
